Dominique Fiorentino represented a fundamental figure for the Madonnina dei Centauri movement, passionately leading the Belgian MCI Belgique Section for many years. His dedication entered the history of the motorcycle rally also at a family level, forming with his son Frédéric one of the rare and historic "Centauri Father and Son" couples. Thanks also to his tireless contribution, the Belgian delegation has grown to regularly become one of the most numerous and loyal foreign representatives of the event.
His attachment to motorcycling tradition has transformed into an indissoluble bond with Castellazzo Bormida. By virtue of his unfailing and constant presence at the Madonnina gathering, the Piedmontese community had proudly awarded him Honorary Citizenship. This title made official the profound mutual respect between the city, which every year welcomes the parades of thousands of motorbikes, and the Belgian Centaur.
The memory of Dominique will continue to travel on the roads together with all the enthusiasts who shared this great passion with him. He will be celebrated and greeted with a Mass to be held Saturday 13 June 2026 at 9:00 am. The function will take place at the Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine della Crete e delle Grazie, a symbolic place which has housed the Patron Saint of the Centaurs since 1947 and is the fulcrum of international motorcycling devotion.
