Therefore, for those arriving from the A26 or from the Alessandria ring road, they must approach Castellazzo Bormida from the SP185 (Alessandria - Casal Cermelli) or from Gamalero SP186 -> Sezzadio and continue on the SP195

3 May 2026, Motorcycle blessing in Castellazzo Bormida

The Moto Club Castellazzo Bormida, with the patronage of the Municipality of Castellazzo Bormida and in collaboration with the Italian Motorcycle Federation, is pleased to organize the Motobenedition meeting at the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Crete for Sunday 3 May 2026.

There Motoblessing it is part of the calendar FMI Piedmont Region Motorcycle Touring Championship 2026 and is open to all motorcycle enthusiasts and any type of motorcycle. You are all invited to participate and share this unique experience together.

Registration will begin at 9 am.
At 10 am, a Holy Mass will be celebrated in the Sanctuary, followed by the Blessing of the motorbikes in the courtyard in front of the Sanctuary.
This is followed by a motorbike tour through the Monferrato hills up to Mombercelli where the staff of Bar La Me Nina will serve the participants a welcome aperitif.

Registration is €25 and includes: access to the event, a breakfast at the Sanctuary, a sightseeing tour, an aperitif and a special lunch at the equipped area in Piazza 1 Maggio, in Castellazzo Bormida (AL).

The proceeds collected during the event will be donated to the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Crete, the Madonnina dei Centauri, to support the sacred place.
